JAMES HILL

James is an award-winning musician, producer and educator. His latest musical project is Champagne Weather, whose semi-improvised, minimalist style inspired the creation of ever.fm.
Hill is an artist working at the intersection of technology, community and art. In 2024, he released Uke Heads, a global fan-collab album that garnered a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination. He is also the founder of the online education site Uketropolis where he works with over 25,000 students worldwide.
James holds a B.Mus from the University of BC, has written many music-education books and has given workshops and talks around the world.
He lives in Atlantic Canada with his wife, son and 11 chickens.
ANDREAS BORG
Co-founder | Development Lead
Andreas is a software engineer and creative technologist with a background in neuroscience and philosophy.
Borg is known for his data visualizations of complex systems, such as the machine learning driven art installation showing the ongoing impact of 9/11 (at the Memorial), the Ethereum sonification project The Music of the Blockchain. He has also
written FDA approved software for remote detection of seizures.
Andreas is the founder of CURE5, a nonprofit organization searching for a cure for the childhood onset CDKL5 epilepsy, by investigating stem cells, drug repurposing and gene editing.
He releases music under the moniker Perfect Society.
